Rockcoast Boatworks designs and builds high-quality downeast-style powerboats. The new company was created in 2008 by George Menezes, a 25-year veteran designer/builder. Observers of Maine boats will be very familiar with the successful designs by Menezes. Popular boats from both Sabre and Back Cove Yachts were born from designs by Menezes when he headed product development for those companies.

Rockcoast Boatworks is currently developing a series of downeast-style powerboats that are sure to become “New Classics.” Based on a common 30-ft. platform, the RC30 Series blends both the performance of a modern planing hull with the sheer and tumblehome of a classic downeast yacht. The 30 is offered in four distinct profiles: Coupe, Lobster, Express and Center Console Cruiser.

A center-console version with a cuddy cabin forward is currently under construction.

Designed by George Menezes utilizing a hull by Geoff Dickes Yacht Design, the RC30 will blend both the performance of a modern planing hull with the sheer and tumblehome of a classic down east yacht.

Powered by an economical diesel stern drive, the efficient hull will provide extremely fuel efficient cruising.

She will be offerd in three distinct profiles, an "Open Express", a "Lobster" and the "Coupe".
